Episode 34: 1 Year Anniversary

It’s been a wild year of Gutsy Faith! With every decision and commitment to honor God, a blessing follows. YOU, our listeners, are our blessing!

Your personal and spiritual growth is our ultimate goal. A huge THANK YOU to Katya, Tyler, Moriah, Shelby, Carmilla, Britton, abs Bobby - just to name a few - AND all our other Gutsy Faith family who has been on this journey with us. 

In celebrating our 1 Year Anniversary we took some time to celebrate the stories of a few of our listeners. We also looked at our very first episode (one of our personal favorites) and revisited the powerful truth around OVERCOMING FEAR.

Fear is a potent way the enemy keeps us from God’s peace. In 2 Chronicles 20, we see a King who battled fear in a flawless way. Here’s a recap:

• King Jehoshaphat found himself surrounded by enemy armies. He gathered his people together to pray… but this wasn’t a weak prayer. It was a powerful prayer that re-told the works of God to the people and echoed these works back to the Father.

• As they prayed, God gave them a battle plan:

  • Station Yourselves (posture yourself to listen, position yourself to move)

  • Stand (be firm, be active, be ready)

  • See (don’t miss what God’s about to do by fixing your eyes on the wrongs things)

• When the King and the people gathered the next day for battle, they simply began to sing praises and their enemies began to fight themselves!

• The place of battle was later named “Valley of Blessing.” We can live in our own valley of blessing as we STATION, STAND, and SEE the works of the Lord.

We are so grateful for everything God has done this last year and we believe that the best is truly still yet to come!
